The Long Term Approach

A good education consultant is able to anaylse the needs of the clients and offer expertise in helping them make the best education plan possible. An education plan takes a long-term view. It prepares the children for the successful enrollment of a school and forward plans their university education. Your advice will influence the pupil’s education and future outlooks. It is essential that you get a full picture of your client before making any recommendation. Even when a pupil is under 18 and parents tend to make decisions for them, it is also important to make sure that pupil is happy with the choices offered.

Ask Questions

You might want to use the following five questions to gauge client’s needs and expectations.

  1. What type of university do you (realistically) expect your child to attend in the future?
  2. Where do you want your child to work in the future?
  3. What level of English language would you expect your child to have after UK studies?
  4. What type of social network do you expect your child to have at school?
  5. What extra-curricular activities, hobbies do you want your child to develop at school?
